2022

The company has been recognized as a promising pre-IPO “Golden Seed” enterprise in Hubei Province; its production and sales volume has exceeded 90,000 tons, with sales revenue nearing 900 million yuan.

We have implemented a green development strategy, initiated and are building projects aimed at scaling up the high-value utilization of recycled resources, and completed the second phase of the 5G optical cable materials project. 2020

With the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, work resumed on March 8. Despite this, annual production and sales still exceeded 70,000 tons, achieving a double victory in both epidemic prevention and control and economic development. We also established the Hubei Province Enterprise-University Joint Innovation Center.

2019

We have launched a fiber-optic cable materials project for a 5G IoT big data center, become a company that has made outstanding contributions to Huanggang City’s 40-year reform and opening-up, and entered the ranks of China’s top 100 electronic component enterprises.

2018

The company has become one of the first demonstration enterprises in Hubei Province to achieve “hidden champion” status in a specific sub-sector of pillar industries. The Expert Building has been completed and put into use. A 10,000-square-meter factory building in the Optoelectronic Materials Industrial Park has been completed and started operations.

2017

The scale has expanded once again, with 161 acres of land acquired for the construction of an optoelectronic materials technology industrial park. After completing its shareholding reform, the company changed its name to Hubei Kepuda Polymer Materials Co., Ltd. It also established a wholly-owned subsidiary, Hubei Kepuda Optoelectronic Materials Co., Ltd., and a Shanghai R&D branch office. Sales revenue reached 600 million yuan.

2016

The company has accelerated its capital operations and expanded equity financing, increasing its registered capital to 50 million yuan. The company’s total assets have reached 300 million yuan, with a total production capacity of 80,000 tons. It has been recognized by the Hubei Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center, and its “Kepuda” trademark has been designated as a China Well-Known Trademark. Sales revenue has exceeded 500 million yuan.

2015

We have diversified our product lineup to include seven major series comprising nearly 100 varieties: polyethylene jacket compounds, low-smoke halogen-free flame-retardant cable compounds, nylon jacket compounds, thermoplastic elastomer cable compounds, anti-tracking cable compounds, flame-retardant polyethylene cable compounds, and specialty cable compounds. Our sales revenue has exceeded 400 million yuan.

2014

The company has been rapidly developing and has become a model enterprise for intellectual property development in Hubei Province. The “Kepuda” trademark has been recognized as a well-known trademark in Hubei Province. The company was awarded the Third Prize in China’s Circular Economy Science and Technology for 2014, and its sales revenue has exceeded 300 million yuan.

2013

We have established an Academician and Expert Workstation and are jointly building the “Center for Polymer New Materials and Modified Processing Technologies” in collaboration with the National Engineering Research Center for Novel Polymer Forming Equipment at South China University of Technology. The environmentally friendly, ant- and rodent-resistant nylon sheathing material for specialty cables has been recognized by the China Association for Science and Technology as being domestically advanced; annual sales have climbed to 200 million yuan.

2012

The company has implemented a brand strategy and been recognized as a high-tech enterprise. The polyethylene optical cable jacket material under the Kepuda brand has been awarded the title of “Hubei Province Famous Brand Product.” The company has expanded its scale, increasing its registered capital to 30 million yuan and expanding its land area to 163 mu.

2011

The company has been recognized as a pilot enterprise for innovative development in the second batch in Hubei Province; its sales revenue has surpassed the 100-million-yuan mark.

The company name has been changed to Hubei Kepuda Industrial Co., Ltd., and the registered capital has been increased to 10 million yuan.

Huangmei Kepuda Industrial Co., Ltd. has been officially registered and established, with a registered capital of 2 million yuan. The company has acquired 5.6 mu of land and employs 31 people. Production commenced on June 8, and the company achieved sales revenue of 6.5 million yuan in the same year.
