As spring brings warmth and flowers bloom in vibrant splendor, on the morning of April 4, a delegation including Academician Qu Jinping of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and distinguished professors from Huazhong University of Science and Technology visited our company for guidance and exchange. Attending the event were leaders including Luo Mingzheng, Chairman of the Huanggang City Association for Science and Technology; Zhou Ming, Deputy Secretary of the Huangmei County Party Committee; Huang Zhiye, Member of the Standing Committee of the Huangmei County Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Xiaochi Binjiang New Area; Wang Wanzhou, Deputy Director of the County Party Committee’s Organization Department; and Li Xiaoqian, Chairman of the Huangmei County Association for Science and Technology. In his welcoming remarks, Ke Bin, Chairman of our company, provided a detailed introduction to the company’s production, operations, and the development of related projects.

Professor Lu Xiang from Huazhong University of Science and Technology introduced the composition of the “Kepuda—Qu Zhi Team” expert group, as well as their latest research findings achieved through the application of stretching rheology technology in fields such as recyclable materials, landfill management, new-energy battery technology, and 5G material modification.

 

 

Li Dezhi, the company’s chief technical officer, reported on the progress of the previous project conducted in collaboration with South China University of Technology regarding stretch rheology technology. The project has demonstrated excellent performance in TPU elastomer processing, yielding products with outstanding properties. However, further adjustments to equipment technology are needed when dealing with high-fill, halogen-free formulations. Mr. Li also put forward several specific technical requests, including improvements to the internal mixer rotors, enhancements to the stretch rheology screw design for high-fill materials, and new solutions for automated feeding systems.

 

 

Academician Qu Jinping expressed full recognition of the company’s achievements and praised its commitment to continuous R&D and innovation. He stated that implementing strategic innovation and mastering core technologies are essential prerequisites for a company’s rapid development. He then provided detailed answers one by one to the questions raised by Li Dezhi, Chief Engineer of Kepuda, and urged the team to engage in comprehensive cooperation with Kepuda, ensure that issues are addressed effectively, and help turn collaborative projects into tangible results.
 

Since its inception, Kepuda has consistently strengthened close collaboration with universities and research institutions, accelerated product R&D, implemented a brand strategy, achieved iterative upgrades in communication materials, promoted resource recycling and energy conservation to reduce carbon emissions, and perfected the industrial chain for polymer-modified materials. Kepuda is also building the Kepuda Optoelectronic Materials Industrial Park and a base for the high-value utilization of renewable resources, striving to become a leading enterprise in optoelectronic cable materials in the Central China region.
